Oradell Council President Tracy Schoenberg is reportedly “curious” about an LD38 Assembly vacancy, according to a source familiar with her thinking.

The Democrat would be willing to take a crack at a vacant seat in the event that either Assemblyman Joe Lagana (D-38) or Assemblyman Tim Eustace (D-38) spring upward to grab the senate seat being vacated by retiring Senator Bob Gordon (D-38).

A source close to the process said Bergenfield Council President Arvin Amatorio is in a favored position for an assembly vacancy, but if she sees an opening or an opportunity to successfully do battle, Schoeberg may wade into position.
