Sussex County Freeholder Sylvia Petillo wants to go to Congress, according to a source.

A Republican, she’s calling around, interested in the seat being vacated by U.S. Rep. Rodney Frelinghuysen (R-11).

Sussex comprises the smallest portion of CD11: Byram Township, Hopatcong, Ogdensburg, Sparta Township and Stanhope.

Petillo is deputy director of the board.
