| Today, the Southern New Jersey Central Labor Council is officially endorsing Steve Sweeney’s bid to be the next Governor of New Jersey in recognition of his steadfast support for the working people of South Jersey by raising wages for workers, creating new jobs, and strengthening worker protections. Steve Sweeney pledges to be the quality-of-life Governor, committed to delivering real, positive change and protecting the interests of working- and middle-class families across the state.
“Steve Sweeney is a passionate advocate for the working class, and his platform is built on addressing the everyday struggles of working families,” said Southern New Jersey Central Labor Council President Sam Ferraino, Jr. “He understands the challenges of balancing work, family, and financial stability, and has consistently championed policies aimed at improving wages, job security, and access to affordable healthcare.”

I won’t vote for him……he’s part of the squad that does absolutely nothing for NJ . Nobody in the Democratic Party cares about the average person in NJ struggling with our outrageous Property Taxes. Sweeney will cater to the teachers Union and will raise our taxes again and again for failing schools. These teachers keep complaining that they don’t have enough money to properly educate the kids. Well news flash, you don’t need money to educate the kids you need better teachers. Stop blaming money on the fact you are doing a bad job. The kids in NJ are behind in reading, math and science. What the hell do you do in the classroom all day long? And “We” keep giving you money but the outcome is still the same-failure in test scores. If you want your property taxes to go up again then vote for Sweeney…..Sorry but this time I’m going for a Republican . You probably won’t print this but it’s all just the truth!
