Speaker Coughlin Announces Assembly Majority Office Staff Promotions
Assembly Speaker Craig J. Coughlin (D-Middlesex) on Thursday announced several staff promotions within the Assembly Majority Office:
“The staff of the Assembly Majority Office work for the people. Every day, each of these dedicated individuals use their skills and expertise to better our communities and advance our shared priorities,” said Speaker Coughlin. “I’m honored to work with a staff that is deeply committed to the nine million residents of our state.”
Daniel Harris, Legislative Director to Speaker Coughlin, will serve as Deputy Executive Director of the Assembly Majority Office.
“I’ve had the opportunity to work with Dan on many legislative achievements over the past several years, including the Economic Recovery Act of 2020 and the minimum wage legislation. He brings a wealth of knowledge of public policy and issues that matter to the people of New Jersey,” said Speaker Coughlin.
AMO Director of Administration Jillian Lynch will be Deputy Executive Director.
“Jillian has shown herself to be a trusted leader during her tenure in the AMO,” said Speaker Coughlin. “She has been instrumental in our transition to remote voting sessions and virtual committee meetings since the pandemic began and so much more. Her work ethnic and professionalism are unmatched.”
Policy Analyst Kristen Powell will serve as Associate General Counsel.
“As aide to the State and Local Government and Labor Committees, Kristen has worked tirelessly to move forward comprehensive legislation to make government more efficient and strengthen worker protections,” said Speaker Coughlin. “She is a true asset to our team.”
Catherine Tung, Policy Analyst, will be Senior Policy Analyst.
“Catherine has served as aide to the Commerce and Economic Development and Science, Innovation and Technology Committees. It is because of her efforts that we have been able to advance robust policy to combat climate change and help small businesses in these challenging times,” said Speaker Coughlin.
Stephan Lally, Aide to the Speaker, will be Senior Staff Associate.
“Stephan has been a trusted ally at my side for over a year. His passion for public policy will serve him well in his new role. I look forward to seeing all he accomplishes in the future,” said Speaker Coughlin.
The promotions are effective immediately.
