Statement from Governor Murphy on Overnight Shooting of New Jersey State Trooper in Paterson
“New Jersey State Troopers go to work every day not knowing what that day will bring. Such was the case early this morning in Paterson when a Trooper was shot and wounded in the leg. The Trooper is currently being treated at Saint Joseph’s Regional Medical Center and, according to State Police Superintendent Colonel Pat Callahan, is in great spirits and surrounded by both his own family and his State Trooper family.
“We will ensure that all those responsible for this violent and heinous act are caught and brought to justice.
“Our State Troopers and local police dedicate their lives to the safety of our communities and state. Ending the menace of gun violence doesn’t just make our streets safer, it keeps them safer, too.”
Being a Paterson resident I ask why are state police
Investigating a home burglary and at 1 am
Paterson police can’t handle that what are we paying Paterson police for.Very suspicious story
I wish this world was peaceful as possible its sad that we have to bear witness to crimes in this world.
