Still Poking in CD11, Bucco Releases Another List of Backers

Incumbent Anthony Bucco wins renomination in a four-person GOP 2019 primary election in Legislative District 25.

Assemblyman Anthony Bucco (R-26) this morning released another list of Republican support in Morris and Sussex as he assesses a campaign for Congress in the 11th Congressional District.

“As I continue to explore a run for the Republican nomination for Congress, I’m proud and humbled to add to our growing list of elected officials and key Republicans across Morris and Sussex counties,” said Bucco. “These officials comprise both the areas I represent in Trenton, as well as new communities far outside my legislative district. They agree like I do that we need a solid voice in Washington who will continue to be a commonsense voice for taxpayers in Washington. I appreciate their guidance, advice and support.”

Forty one officials added their name today to the Bucco exploratory effort, encompassing support from 22 municipalities. An earlier list released last week included nineteen leading Republican names from Morris County, including Sheriff Jim Gannon, Freeholder Director Doug Cabana, County Clerk Ann Grossi, a majority of the Morris County Freeholders, and 4 Mayors from some of the largest Republican towns in the 11th District.
