Sussex County Reports 15 New COVID-19 Cases; 47 Total as of Thursday

(Hardyston, NJ) As of March 26, 2020 the Sussex County Division of Health (SCDOH) was notified of 15 additional cases of COVID-19 among county residents. The total number of cases of COVID-19 in Sussex County is at 47, as follows:

The Sussex County Division of Health is the lead agency for investigation of confirmed cases of COVID- 19, which includes contact tracing. During case investigation, the SCDOH determines which persons are close contacts, as defined by the New Jersey Department of Health, and makes the appropriate recommendations to those individuals. The statewide COVID-19 case count as of 2pm Friday March 27th is 8825, and 108 fatalities, according to the NJDOH, a loss of 27 residents over the past 24 hours, and an increase of 1,982 cases.
