Teaneck Mayor Michael Pagan Endorses Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate

Pagan
Today, Teaneck Mayor Michael Pagan endorsed Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate. He released the following statement:

“After meeting with both candidates and researching where each of them stand on the issues, I am proud to support Tammy Murphy for U.S. Senate,” said Mayor Pagan. “We need an effective leader in the Senate who will deliver for not just Bergen County, but for the entire state. There is no doubt in my mind that Tammy Murphy is the only candidate who will be tough enough to advocate for New Jersey and bring back critical funding from Washington. Our families deserve someone who will fight for them everyday — just as Tammy has done for the last six years — and I am confident she will continue to do that in the Senate.”

Murphy has received endorsements from over eighty faith and community leaders, six Congressional members, and over one-hundred elected officials. Murphy has also received support from multiple unions including the United Food and Commercial Workers International Union New Jersey Locals 464A, 360, 1262, 312, and 152, the International Longshoremen’s Association, the New Jersey Council of Sheet Metal Workers, the Amalgamated Transit Union (ATU) International and the ATU New Jersey State Joint Council, the New Jersey State Electrical Workers Association Construction Division of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers, the Sheet Metal Workers Local 25, the International Union of Painters and Allied Trades District Council 21, the International Association of Bridge, Structural, Ornamental, and Reinforcing Iron Workers, the State Troopers Fraternal Association, the International Federation of Professional and Technical Engineers Local 194, the New Jersey Firefighters Mutual Benevolent Association, and the Eastern Atlantic States Regional Council of Carpenters.
