Tedesco: Bergen County Has 7,533 COVID-19 Cases as of Tuesday
Bergen County Executive Tedesco posted the following update on the county’s COVID-19 case count this evening:
‘Sadly, today we experienced the deadliest day with 59 deaths reported in the County for a total of 263. Together we mourn the loss of our Bergen County family members and extend our deepest sympathies to their loved ones.
Bergen County had 434 new presumptive positive cases today, April 7th, as reported by the NJDOH; for a total of 7,533 cases countywide. Please note that we will not be posting individual municipality totals this evening.
Please help our County flatten the curve-stay home.’
According to the NJDOH, the statewide COVID-19 count as of Wednesday, April 8th is 47,437 cases and 1,504 fatalities, an increase of 3,088 cases and 275 fatalities from Tuesday.
