The Chamber Train Pulls into D.C., Deposits NJ Insiders

The scene at Union Station.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – The chamber train pulled into Union Station and a mostly drunken gang of New Jersey hooligans, insiders, assorted operatives and some elected officials, all given a heightened air of professionalism by dangling laminated name tags, stormed the grand edifices of the United States Capitol.

State Senator Ray Lesniak (D-20) de-boarded the train.

State Senator Nilsa Cruz Perez (D-5) de-boarded.

State Senator Nellie Pou (D-35) de-boarded.

So did Assemblyman Gary Schaer (D-36).

InsiderNJ ran into the NJTV news crew (Mike Aron, David Cruz and Phil Alongi) out in front of Union Station where a long line of people awaited cabs bound for the Marriott Wardman Hotel.

Cruz, Alongi and Aron.
