Tonio Burgos Taps Lambertville Mayoral Candidate Fahl as VP of Legislative Affairs

Tonio Burgos, CEO of Tonio Burgos and Associates, Inc., announced Julia Fahl as vice president of legislative affairs for the company’s New Jersey operations.

Fahl, a Democrat, is running unopposed in the Lambertville mayoral race which will be decided in November.

Fahl most recently served as a fundraising consultant with Anvil Strategies in Washington, D.C. She has worked on numerous high-visibility campaigns including serving as in-state finance director, Murphy for Governor; finance director for Aimee Belgard for Congress; and campaign manager, Mark Takai for Congress (Hawaii). Fahl also worked on races in Pennsylvania, Virginia and New Mexico.

Additionally, she has served as finance director for the Democrat National Committee LGBT Leadership Council and as major gifts officer for Planned Parenthood Action Fund of NJ.

“We look forward to working with Julia,” said Burgos. “Her knowledge and experience at the state level and her first-hand knowledge of politics at the local level will enhance the legislative and policy efforts we put forward on behalf of our New Jersey clients.”

Fahl joins Jim Kehoe, president of Tonio Burgos & Associates New Jersey, who joined the firm in 2015.  Together, with the backing and support of the firm’s staff in New York, Fahl and Kehoe serve the needs of the firm’s growing base of New Jersey clients. The company represents clients in the energy, finance, transportation, health care and economic development industries.

Fahl graduated cum laude from Bryn Mawr College in 2012 where she was a political science major, concentrating in Women in American Politics.
