Transcript of NJ Tax Incentive Task Force Public Hearing
TRENTON — The Task Force charged by Governor Phil Murphy with investigating billions of dollars in economic incentives approved by the NJ Economic Development Authority (EDA) since 2013 today released the official transcript of the second day of its public hearing, which occurred on May 2 at Rutgers Law School in Newark.
Witnesses who testified at the hearing include Tim Lizura, former COO of the EDA; Fred Cole, Senior Vice President of Operation for the EDA; David Lawyer, and EDA Employee who is a manager of the Underwriting Section which vets applications for Grow NJ awards; whistleblower Kerrie-Ann Murray; John Boyd of The Boyd Company, a corporate site selection firm based out of Princeton, N.J and Brandon McKoy of New Jersey Policy Perspective.
Task force members in attendance include Task Force Chair Professor Ronald K. Chen, and Task Force Special Counsel Jim Walden, Georgia Winston, Milton Williams, Avni Patel, Stephanie Levick, Derek Borchardt and Jennifer Prevete of Walden Macht & Haran LLP, a leading law firm in government investigations, and Special Counsel Pablo Quiñones of Quiñones Law PLLC, a boutique law firm with expertise in corporate compliance and integrity monitoring.
