Union County Chair Scutari Makes the Dem Case for Menendez at Top of the Ticket (with Video)
LINDEN – State Senator (and Union County Democratic Committee Chairman) Nick Scutari (D-22) swatted back at Assembly Minority Leader Jon Bramnick’s (R-21) assertion earlier today that U.S. Senator Bob Menendez (D-NJ) represents a battleground deficit for Democrats this year.
A poll today shows “lackluster” support for the incumbent U.S. Senator.
But Scutari sees the terrain differently.
As Democratic Party chairman, he oversees part of CD7, a swing district where Dems hope to pick off incumbent U.S. Rep. Leonard Lance (R-7).
His candidate is former assistant Secretary of State Tom Malinowski.

If Mendez had any scruples he would bow out of running and someone who can be trusted and respected would be chosen. Mendez deserves neither of those.
