With wardrobe designed by Mascko, LD29 Assemblywoman Speight released an inspiring video message in tribute to the swearing-in of Vice President Kamala Harris wearing one of the most unique – and uplifting – outfits that has ever graced New Jersey political circles.

Wearing a gown to commemorate the historic moment for the nation, Speight says ‘over the past year, our nation as been through so much’ but that one great victory was the election of Kamala Harris, who has ‘changed the narrative of our country’.

Speight urged continued action and progress following Harris’ victory.

‘Moving forward, we have to keep up the fight, for your children, for my children. This is just the beginning,’ says Speight.
