Bridgegate investigator and former Assemblyman John Wisniewski (D-19) will join Democratic Assembly candidate Wayne Lewis at a fundraiser scheduled for Wednesday, October 16.

“Mark your calendars for our cocktail reception on 10/1/6,” Lewis posted on the campaign’s official social media platforms. “where we’ll be joined by former Assemblyman, one-time candidate for governor, and leader of the Bridgegate probe, John Wisniewski! We’re now entering the crucial period of our campaign – in these last few weeks leading up to Election Day, we need your help more than ever!”

The fundraiser in the solidly Republican district served by GOP Assemblyman Brian Rumpf and Assemblwoman DiAnne Gove – will take place at 110 Hospitality Drive in Longport.

Wisniewski ran unsuccessfully for governor in the 2017 Democratic Primary, which Phil Muphy won.
