Ronald Pascrell, Woodland Park Democratic Chairman passed away yesterday at age 78. A long time member of the local Board of Education, Pascrell served in the United States Marine Corps.  During his tenure as Municipal Chair, Pascrell’s supported candidates never lost a seat on the Woodland Park governing body or the school board.

Mayor Keith Kazmark described him as a, “Democrat’s Democrat, like no other.”

Pascrell leaves behind his wife, Councilwoman Rita Pascrell who serves as Chief of Staff to Passaic County Democratic Chairman John Currie, and two grown children, Joseph and Stephanie.  Ron was the first cousin of Rep. Bill Pascrell (D-8).
