Woodland Park Announces First Presumptive Positive COVID-19 Case, A 21-Year Old Male
Mayor Keith Kazmark informed residents this morning that the first presumptive positive case in the Passaic County town of Woodland Park was identified by county health officials, a 21 year old male:
“Dear Woodland Park Residents,
I regret to inform you that that we have been informed by County Health Officials of the first presumptive positive COVID-19 test of a Woodland Park resident.
The resident is a 21 year old male. He is quarantined at home and is currently asymptomatic.
We remain in constant contact with the Director of County Health and will release additional information as it is provided. I want to stress this is not a time for panic or overzealous concern.
While this resident is presumptive positive, there remains little immediate risk of exposure to this virus. However, we must be vigilant in following the recommendations of Public Health Officials when it comes to social distancing, hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes and disinfecting common areas.
Should you exhibit any symptoms of illness, consult your personal doctor to discuss treatment.

Governor Murphy on Saturday afternoon announced that the case count in New Jersey rose to 69.
