TRENTON – Parked in front of the Statehouse, a TV truck with a Working Families decal on its looping movie images reminds passersby that Senate President Steve Sweeney (D-3) backed a millionaire’s tax during the era of Republican Governor Chris Christie.

Yesterday, Sweeney offered a compromise proposal of a mega millionaire’s tax, but Murphy refused to bite.

The leaders are scheduled to meet again behind closed doors at 225 West State Street at 2 p.m.
