Armato Joins LD2 Democratic Ticket
LD2 Democrats tonight filled out their ticket following the Atlantic County Democratic Convention with firefighter John Armato.
Attorney Colin Bell, a former Atlantic County freeholder, is running for state senate, Assemblyman Vince Mazzeo for reelection, and Armato for the second assembly seat.
Armato beat Freeholder Ernest Coursey 89-67 for the Democratic Assembly nomination.
A resident of Buena Vista, Armato served with the Richland Volunteer Fire Company for over 40 years. He has also
served Buena Vista Township Fire District No. 1 as a Fire Commissioner for nine years and has been the Chairman of the Fire District for the past six years.
