Running in the CD7 Democratic Primary, frontrunner Tom Malinowski told supporters that he would be experiencing something new today when he stepped into the polling booth, namely finding his own name as an option.

“It’s a moving and powerful thing for me,” said the former assistant secretary of the state, reflecting on voting.

“Now I’m part of it in this extraordinary way,” Malinowski added. “Democracy in America is very fragile today and I want to do something about it.”
