The Hudson County Democratic Organization (HCDO) allies of U.S. Rep. Albio Sires and Hudson Executive Tom DeGise tonight held against the insurgency of Union City Mayor Brian P. Stack in the vaunted county committee fight.

Sires and DeGise won 46 committee seats where they fielded candidates.

Stack picked up 10-12 seats.

“Bozo the clown could have won that one,” said DeGise Chief of Staff Craig Guy, in reference to what Stack and West New York Mayor Felix Roque won tonight.
