John Pallone beat incumbent Adam Schneider tonight in Long Branch.

Landslide.

The councilman had the considerable support of labor, including support from the Operating Engineers, who blitzed Schneider on local television, and the Laborers, who relentlessly pounded the beat.

The final vote was a lopsided 62-32% win by Pallone over Schneider.
